Bus Stops |
The timetables show only a selection of stopping places at which buses are
officially timed. Other than "limited stop" or "express"
services, buses will stop at all bus stops on the route.
In towns, stops are marked with a "Bus Stop" sign. In rural areas,
and in some residential districts, buses will stop on request at any safe point.
In all cases, please give a clear hand signal to the driver that you wish
to board.
On unlit roads after dark, it is a good idea to wear light coloured clothing
or carry a torch so that the driver can see you.
When you wish to get off the bus, please tell the driver, or signal to him by
means of the bell, in plenty of time.

"College Days Only" services are similar to schooldays, although college terms may start later in September and end earlier in July. If in doubt, please contact the bus operator of the service you intend you use.

A Sunday service is usually operatored on Public Holidays.
No services operate on Christmas Day and only a limited National Express

and Bank Holiday Mondays. Services may also be varied on certain days
between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day, in which case, separate
information will be issued.
On Good Friday, either a normal Friday service, or sometimes a Saturday
service operates.
Contact the bus operator directly for more details.
These arrangements may not apply to services outside Hampshire.
