31st March 2003: Havant Borough Public Transport Websites Launched

Comprehensive train, bus, ferry and coach information for Havant Borough is now available on the internet.

In partnership with Xephos Internet, we now provide two versions of our comprehensive, Borough-wide public transport information. Both of the systems have been commissioned by the Borough Council to encourage the development of public transport facilities in the Borough.

Both sites provide detailed information for travelling not only within the Borough, but also across the UK. Details include timetables for local bus services; National Express coach times; and the National Rail times.

  • Xephos 'Gold' Edition (this site) - full national public transport journey planner, index to places served, bus stops, maps and other information. Timetables are delivered in text, and the site complies with current accessibility guidelines.

  • TBC 'Quick' Guide - buses listed by route number, includes Weekday and Sunday network maps (requires frames-enabled browser). Timetables are delivered as images, so this site is not recommended for users of older browsers, text browsers or accessibility software. Includes the CANGO flexible network in Leigh Park, and the ASDA Free Bus network.

Schools and works services are listed separately at the moment, although will move onto the Xephos system soon.
